🚛 Delivery Driver Wanted – Join Our Friendly Team at Haven Timber! 🚛

📍 Location: BA2 7NG

⏰ Hours: Full-time or part-time, Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 5 PM, 1-hour unpaid break)

📆 Optional Saturday shifts: 8 AM – 1 PM

🛻 Vehicle: 3.5-ton Iveco Dropside

We’re looking for a reliable delivery driver to join our team at Haven Timber! This is a permanent role, but we’ll consider temporary positions for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

✔️ Delivering timber and flat-packed garden buildings to local customers

✔️ Loading and unloading deliveries (manual lifting involved)

✔️ Providing excellent customer service on-site

✔️ Helping around the yard when needed

✔️ Operating a forklift (if qualified)

What We're Looking For:

🔹 Experience driving 3.5-ton vehicles

🔹 A licence to tow a 3.5-ton trailer is a bonus

🔹 Forklift experience is an advantage

🔹 Ability to lift heavy timber and work efficiently

🔹 Friendly, customer-focused, and flexible

Sales & Operations Assistant – Full & Part-Time Positions

Haven Timber is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team! Whether you’re starting out in sales or have experience in sales, merchandising, accounts, administration, social media, or website management, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing position, based at the shop counter, where you will:
✅ Serve customers face-to-face and assist them with their purchases
✅ Answer telephone inquiries, providing advice and taking orders
✅ Process transactions and ensure customers receive excellent service

We’re also keen to find candidates with additional skills that can be used in other areas of the business, making this a varied role.

Who Can Apply?

✔ Trainee Sales Assistants – No experience? No problem! We provide full training.
✔ Experienced Sales Staff – If you’ve worked in sales before, that’s a plus!
✔ Multi-Skilled Candidates – If you have experience in areas like merchandising, accounts, admin, marketing, social media, or website management, we may incorporate those skills into your role.

✔ A team player with a great sense of humour
✔ Strong customer service & communication skills
✔ Confidence in speaking to customers face-to-face and on the phone
✔ Retail or sales experience (preferred but not essential – we provide training!)
✔ Someone with their own transport, as there is no public transport to our location
